The Faithfull Plumbers Soldering Mat is a high temperature, Asbestos free protective heat mat for plumbing and soldering applications. It is ideal for DIY and light trade use, including soft soldering and most plumbing applications.
The heat mat withstands temperatures of up to 500°C and will provide protection to surfaces against burn marks and heat damage. For best results, the flame should not come into direct contact with the surface of the mat for prolonged periods. If the surface of the mat begins to glow it should be moved slightly so that the flame is redirected to a previously unheated area.
Always use the same side to face the flame to keep the reverse side clean against the surface being protected. If an area is to be exposed to heat for extended periods we recommended the use of two heat mats, layered for improved protection.
May be used with both Butane and Propane.

We aim to supply all products marked “in Stock” over £25 on a one to two working day basis provided the order is placed by 3.00pm. Free Two Day Delivery on orders over £75.00 excluding VAT to UK Mainland. Under £75.00, a carriage charge of £3.95 to £6.95 will be charged dependent on weight.
No deliveries will be made on Bank Holidays.

Christmas deliveries orders placed on the 22nd should be delivered on or before the 24th but can not be guarenteed. orders placed on or after the 24th will be delivered on or after the 30th December. Orders placed the 30th will be delivered on or after the 4th January.
Deliveries will be made by either Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
