The RF500 Taro is designed for the next generation of wearers, combining a classic low-profile silhouette with the uncompromising protection you expect from Rock Fall. Built on a traditional cup sole with a refined, lower-profile toe, it offers the durability of our proven safety footwear in a style you’ll feel confident wearing beyond the working day. Hidden within the leather upper and streamlined design is robust protection: a steel toe cap guards against heavy impacts and dropped tools, while a flexible penetration resistant protective insert shields your feet from sharp underfoot hazards—providing assurance on unpredictable terrain. To keep you going through long shifts, the shock-absorbing comfort footbed minimises fatigue and eases pressure on hard surfaces. A dependable slip-resistant outsole ensures secure footing in even the most demanding conditions. This rubber compound is infused with Solum Verdura™, a bio-based additive that replaces fossil-based chemistry and reduces reliance on finite resources – and increases our use of bio-based materials. Classic in appearance yet built for today’s workplaces, the RF500 delivers the perfect balance of style, strength and all-day comfort. We guide our materials choices with a clear "Better Materials Framework”. This commitment to reducing our reliance on conventional materials is delivered using leathers sourced from a Leather Working Group certified tannery, textiles made from 100% recycled polyester and recycled TPU in the internal components that maintain the shape of the heel section. For this style, we have incorporated Solum’s bio-based pellets into the outsole. These contain plant-based feedstock, which partially replaces some fossil-fuel-based materials in the compound. This approach supports our efforts to increase the use of alternative material sources. Durable Leather Upper: Water repellent, Leather Working Group Gold rated leather offers long-lasting performance that repels moisture and dirt. Recycled Post Consumer Polyester Lining Mesh: Our recycled polyester supply chain is certified to the Global Recycled Standard. Advanced Toe Protection: A steel protective toecap ensures safety without added weight. Advanced Penetration Resistant Performance: The penetration resistant protective insert provides essential on-the-job safety. Tough Rubber outsole: Flexible slip-resistant outsole produced using Solum’s Verdura™ bio-based pellets.

We aim to supply all products marked “in Stock” over £25 on a one to two working day basis provided the order is placed by 3.00pm. Free Two Day Delivery on orders over £75.00 excluding VAT to UK Mainland. Under £75.00, a carriage charge of £3.95 to £6.95 will be charged dependent on weight.

No deliveries will be made on Bank Holidays.

Christmas deliveries orders placed on the 22nd should be delivered on or before the 24th but can not be guarenteed. orders placed on or after the 24th will be delivered on or after the 30th December. Orders placed the 30th will be delivered on or after the 4th January.

Deliveries will be made by either Royal Mail or Parcel Force.
